Carbon reduction plan

To ensure we meet our commitment to achieving Net Zero by 2050, we have
established clear emissions reduction targets for each scope of emissions. These targets are designed to drive our efforts and measure our progress over time.

Energy Solutions go Beach Cleaning

On a day the British would call "bracing" & everyone else would simply refer to as "absolutely freezing", the px Group Energy Solutions team headed out in the wind & rain to Seaton Carew to collect rubbish, working with a local charity called Seascapes who work to raise awareness of the importance of coastal environments, organise beach cleaning & educate local communities.

Despite what looked like a clean beach from afar, the team were surprised by the volume of rubbish they managed to collect in just 2 hours, including bottle caps, straws, and sweet wrappers, as well as larger items like nets, lobster pots and an old tyre.

For those of you who have seen Blue Planet or the recent Planet Earth episodes will know the growing interest & importance of looking after our local environments, as well as the growing impact humans are having. SeaScapes Tyne to Tees is one of a number of organisations involved in the marine conversation.

px Group offers all employees the opportunity to take part in one day of charity volunteering work each year as part of their working hours.

px pledges support to Power of Women Campaign

px is committed to working in our local communities, so the decision to get involved in this campaign and support local a school was an easy one. We have a wide range of talented women in our business and we hope to use this as a platform to inspire young people.

The Power of Women campaign aims to help the young girls and women of the Tees Valley by showing them what’s possible, giving them the tools to get to where they want to be and keeping them inspired, motivated and supported on their journey.

Our commitment to zero harm

At px Group we believe that harm to people, the environment, the assets we operate on behalf of our clients CAN and MUST be prevented.

We call this ZERO Harm and our ZERO Harm Charter describes our expectations and commitment to preventing harm to People, Environment, Assets and hence our clients and our own Reputation (PEAR). We believe that ZERO Harm is fundamental and underpins our values and behaviours, balances management of both process and workplace safety and is embedded in our everyday business culture.

We have 30 years’ experience in operating safely and maintaining high levels of reliability of high hazard, complex, highly regulated assets in the energy and infrastructure sectors including the 370 acre Saltend Chemicals Park near Hull, UK which we acquired in 2018.

We are justifiably proud of outstanding safety performance sustained over many years which comes from the positive attitudes and behaviours of our people; robust, efficient and effective systems and the highest standards and focus on not harming people, the environment or our assets.
